John Johnson is the Founder of J-Squared Consultants, Inc. With over three decades of experience in leadership, operations, and business development, John’s track record spans nationally recognized brands and billion-dollar companies.

Before founding J-Squared, John served as President and General Manager of Low Tide, where he led iconic outdoor sports brands. He also spent ten years at Pitman Creek Wholesale — the sportfishing industry’s leading distribution company — as COO / Vice President & CRO. Prior to that, he held a variety of trade development roles at Altria Group (NYSE: MO), including brands like Philip Morris USA, U.S. Smokeless Tobacco, and NJOY.

John is a passionate advocate for conservation and the outdoors. He serves on the Board of Directors for the American Sportfishing Association and the Keep America Fishing Foundation. He lives in Kentucky with his wife Sara and their two daughters, Emily and Ella, and remains deeply involved in his church and local community.
